What Ofsted said:
Children make excellent progress towards the early learning goals for the Foundation Stage because staff have a secure understanding of how young children learn.
Children increase their social skills and independence and develop excellent self-help skill because staff make a superb use of every day routines to enhance children’s learning.
Children of all ages settle very well in the friendly and welcoming pre-school environment and form close relationships with staff and their peers.

What our parents and carers say: We are sure Lilly will continue to thrive in such a creative, imaginative environment as pre-school. Many thanks go out to all the staff involved in settling Lilly, Swans and Cygnets is a very special place – always welcoming and friendly.
With the continued support I’m sure that Daniel will be well equipped for his transition to school. Thanks you for all your help and support over the years!

is1...to play...to explore... to grow
Swans and Cygnets is set at the foot of the Malvern Hills within the grounds of St. Josephs Primary School and we are lucky enough to enjoy the use of an extensive outdoor area, playgrounds, grassed areas and woodland. Outdoor learning is a big part of our day, be it monitoring our plants development, riding bicycles or playing in the sand and water. When the weather allows you will often find us outside as we venture into the Nature Trail to investigate.

Outdoor learning is a big part of our day, be it monitoring our plants development, riding bicycles or playing in the sand and water. When the weather allows you will often find us moving our activities outside where children can explore familiar toys and games in a different surrounding. Wellies are a must at our Pre-School as we often venture to the Nature Trail to investigate our environment or to simply sit and share a story!
Alongside our planned activities we provide for child-initiated play where the children develop their own way of playing with the equipment and one another.
We are proud of our Pre-School the children in it. Come and visit us and see why for yourself. Your child will be glad you did!
